On March 28th, 2026, 10:30am Sole Bespoke Consulting, in collaboration with Suzhou Spectralink Technology, successfully hosted the maiden edition of the Global Business Hub Initiative – a business workshop focused on enabling scalability, bringing together founders, professionals, and globally minded entrepreneurs.
The event began with an informal networking session, where attendees connected over light refreshments. This created a relaxed and engaging atmosphere, setting the tone for meaningful conversations even before the official commencement at 11:00 AM.
The workshop was formally opened by Victor Andrew, CEO of Suzhou Spectralink Technology Co., Ltd. and Co-founder of Global Business Hub Initiative. In his welcome address, he expressed appreciation to all attendees for showing up with intention and emphasized his belief that everyone would leave with something tangible—both in knowledge gained and valuable connections made. He then introduced the first speaker.
Nathan Pelton, CEO & Co-founder of LEAF Cultural Exchange and Tanxun Global Consultants, with over 20 years of experience in China, led the first teaching and workshop session on scaling across different business stages. He delivered practical, high-impact insights into common mistakes businesses make when scaling and shared actionable strategies tailored for both small and mid-sized enterprises.
The second session was facilitated by Daniel Elorm Oben-Torkornoo, Entrepreneur and Business Coach with over 15 years of experience. His session focused on low-cost scaling strategies that actually work. He highlighted how unnecessary complexity can hinder growth and emphasized the importance of simplicity and focus. Attendees were equipped with strategic tools to streamline operations and scale more effectively.
A short break followed, giving participants time to refresh, network, and exchange ideas.
The workshop resumed with Ma Yun, a dynamic Chinese entrepreneur and seasoned construction engineer, who provided valuable insights into conducting business in China from a local perspective. He discussed how Chinese businesses approach global partnerships, the critical role of guanxi (relationships), and key government policies affecting foreign entrepreneurs. He also shared practical tips for succeeding within the Chinese business environment.
The final teaching and workshop session was led by Osinowo Ore-Oluwa, Founder of Sole Bespoke Consulting, Co-founder of Global Business Hub Initiative, and Sales Manager at a machinery company. Building on the previous sessions, he spoke on systems thinking as a foundation for sustainable scaling. Drawing from his real-world experience, he emphasized the importance of implementing structured systems within businesses. He provided practical examples, including delegation frameworks, financial templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), along with actionable methods for execution.
He then invited all speakers to the stage for a panel session.
The panel session featured Nathan Pelton, Daniel Elorm Oben-Torkornoo, Ma Yun, alongside the conveners Victor Andrew and Osinowo Ore-Oluwa. This interactive segment allowed attendees to ask real-life business questions and receive practical, experience-based insights from the panelis
